Here's how the Phillies' minor-league teams fared on Tuesday, August 13.

Here's how the Phillies' minor-league teams fared on Tuesday, August 13:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs (63-61) were idle Tuesday after taking three of four from the Gwinnett Braves.

Right-hander Tyler Cloyd (4-9, 5.25 ERA) is slated to start when Lehigh Valley begins a three-game series at home against the Syracuse Chiefs on Wednesday.

It will be Renew Your Wedding Vows Night at the ballpark.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double A

The Fightin Phils rallied for a walk-off 7-6 victory over the Binghamton Mets at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, Pa.

Left-handed starter Jesse Biddle was the recipient of an early lead.

In the first, center fielder Albert Cartwright led off the inning with a single and scored on left fielder Zach Collier's triple for a 1-0 lead.

With the score tied 1-1 in the second, Reading pushed three runs across the plate. Collier gave the Fightin Phils another lead on an RBI groundout to score catcher Sebastian Valle, who led off the inning with a double. Third baseman Maikel Franco capped off the inning with a two-out, two-run double for a 4-1 lead.

Biddle allowed two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out nine over six innings. Biddle would have to settle for a no-decision because relievers Colby Shreve and Austin Wright surrendered a four-run seventh.

Trailing 6-4 in the eighth, Reading started to mount a comeback. First baseman Jim Murphy hit a sacrifice fly to crawl within a run.

With one out in the ninth, second baseman Matt Tolbert singled and Valle doubled to put the tying and winning runs in scoring position. Anthony Hewitt, who entered the game to play left field, singled to tie the game and Valle scored on a wild pitch to win the game.

Valle was a standout on offense and finished 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored.

The Fighting Phils improved to 52-68. The middle game of the three-game set is scheduled for Wednesday as Reading will trot out righty Brody Colvin (3-2, 6.46 ERA) to the mound.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

The Threshers split a doubleheader with the Daytona Cubs at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, Fla.

In the first game, Clearwater was shut out, 5-0.

Center fielder Aaron Altherr (2-for-3 with a double) and third baseman Harold Martinez (2-for-3 with two doubles and a strikeout) combined for four of the team's five hits.

Right-handed starter Nic Hanson (0-1, 6.23 ERA) took the loss. He allowed five runs (three earned) on eight hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings.

The Threshers recovered to take a 3-2 decision in the second game.

Right-handed starter Mark Leiter (1-0, 3.00 ERA) earned the win for his five-inning outing. He allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out four.

In the second inning, right fielder Cameron Perkins's sixth home run of the season, a solo shot, gave Clearwater the lead.

Left fielder Peter Lavin led off the fourth with a double and scored on first baseman Chris Serritella's RBI single.

The eventual winning run came in the seventh when Serritella drew a leadoff walk. Two batters later, designated hitter Brock Stassi plated Serritella with an RBI single.

The Threshers moved to 57-59 after the doubleheader. The teams will play another doubleheader on Wednesday. Starting pitchers have not been announced.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

The BlueClaws lost a slugfest against the Kannapolis Intimidators, 12-8, at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in Kannapolis, N.C.

Right-handed starter Jonathan Musser (1-8, 6.16 ERA) suffered the loss as he was hit hard in the game. Musser allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on eight hits and three walks over four-plus innings. He served up two home run balls.

Lakewood tried to battle back, but couldn't overcome deficits of 3-0, 7-1 and 10-3.

Shortstop Angelo Mora hit a solo home run, his third of the season, in the game.

Second baseman Miguel Abreu, Left fielder Larry Greene and right fielder Brian Pointer all knocked in a run and scored a run for Lakewood.

The loss dropped the BlueClaws to 46-72. The series continues Wednesday as Lakewood will hand the ball to righty Jeb Stefan (4-6, 3.80 ERA).

Williamsport Crosscutters - Class A-Short Season

The Crosscutters (25-27) were idle Tuesday due to the New York-Penn League All-Star Game.

Right-handed pitcher Tyler Buckley, catcher Gabriel Lino, outfielder Jiandido Tromp and third baseman Zach Green represented Williamsport for the game.

The Crosscutters will resume the season Wednesday with the opening game of a two-game series with the Auburn Doubledays. Righty Julio Reyes (1-1, 4.03 ERA) will take the bump for Williamsport.
