Penguins get past Phantoms

John Slaney scored for the Phantoms along with Kyle Greentree, who picked up his first professional goal. Phantoms winger Claude Giroux recorded an assist for his first professional point.

Kurtis McLean scored the first goal for Wilkes-Barre off a set-up from Matt Carkner.

Martin Houle took the loss with 24 saves on 27 shots. Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers earned the win by stopping 24 of 26 Phantoms chances.
