LAST WEEK, the United Nations issued a report chronicling North Korea's massive human-rights violations under the rule of Kim Jong-un.

It is estimated that there are up to 200,000 political prisoners. The report alleged that many have been executed, tortured and starved.

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has visited North Korea and its idiot leader many times, which has inspired a 20th Century Fox film to be titled "Diplomats."

And get this: It's going to be a comedy.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will be directed by Tim Story, whose past projects include "Ride Along," "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "Barbershop."

Billed a buddy film, it will be based on Rodman's trip to North Korea last month in which he and a group of former NBA players took part in an exhibition as a birthday gift to Kim.

Rodman even sang "Happy Birthday" and called the diminutive dimwit his "best friend."

No word on casting yet. Rodman conceivably could play himself as he's been on the big screen many times.

As for Kim? Kick over a rock and sign up the first slimy creature that crawls out.

Sizzling idea

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are going to bring home the bacon.

Yesterday, the Phillies' Triple A affiliate announced its players will wear bacon-themed uniforms during Saturday home games this season.

The caps will feature a strip of bacon above the bill, the pants will include bacon piping down the legs. The word "Pig" will be emblazoned across the front of the jerseys.

The team has apparently gone hog wild over the new look. Yesterday, it tweeted: "If loving bacon is wrong, I don't want to be right."

The Pigs are also marketing scratch-and-sniff bacon T-shirts that keep their meaty scent for up to 15 washings.
