21 shot, 4 fatally, over three days in Philly

A bloody Easter Weekend was followed by more gun violence Monday.

Two people were killed and five wounded overnight Sunday and Monday in separate shootings in different parts of Philadelphia, police said.

The bloodshed followed a weekend during which 15 people were shot, two fatally, in the city.

The latest shooting happened Monday afternoon on a  Southwest Philadelphia street. There, a 25-year-old man was shot in the right thigh in the 1900 block of South 59th Street about 2:20 p.m. He was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was reported in stable condition.
