SEPTA bus, car collide, injuring 9

Nine people were injured Saturday night when a SEPTA bus collided with a car.

Nine people were injured Saturday night when a SEPTA bus collided with a car.

The crash occurred about 7 p.m., when the Route 31 bus collided with the car as the car tried to make a left turn at 61st and Market Streets, a SEPTA spokeswoman said.

Seven people on the bus, including the driver, were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the spokeswoman said.

Two people from the car were also taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not known.
