Philadelphia cancels all after-school events today

The Philadelphia School District has cancelled all after-school activities today--including sports-- because of the afternoon's forecast of deteriorating weather conditions.

Schools will be dismissed at regular times.

Parents whose children attend the district's Comprehensive Early Learning Centers are asked to pick up their children at 4 p.m. But the centers will remain open until all students have been collected.
