2 men critical in separate W. Philly shootings

Two men were in critical condition after being wounded in separate shootings in West Philadelphia Monday night.

Two men were in critical condition after being wounded in separate shootings less than 10 minutes apart Monday night in West Philadelphia.

About 9:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Horton Street, a 35-year-old man was shot in the right side of his head, police said. He was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Just after 9:15 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 3900 block of Brown Street and found an unidentified man with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, described as about 30 years old, was taken by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

No arrests were reported in either case.
