This exercise works the chest, shoulders and core. You must have good upper-body strength to perform this exercise, which is best performed on a hardwood floor or smooth surface. This cannot be done on carpet. Also, two hand towels are required.

1. Start by lying face down on the floor, legs straight, toes curled under and arms straight out to sides, palms down on towels.

2. While keeping your arms straight, slide your hands together toward the center of your body.

3. Slide your arms back out to the start position and repeat.
