Update: Tracy Morgan crash

The Wal-Mart truck driver alleged to have caused Saturday's crash on the New Jersey Turnpike on Wednesday has pleaded not guilty to several felony counts, including vehicular homicide.

Kevin Roper appeared with his lawyer, David Glassman, before Superior Court Judge Bradley Ferencz in New Brunswick. The driver is accused of causing the crash that killed one and left four others injured, including actor-comic Tracy Morgan.

Roper is out on $50,000 bail.

Martin's new character

Game of Thrones maestro George R.R. Martin's next book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire will feature a character named Dave Goldblatt, ABC News reports.

The name's not Dungeons & Dragons enough for ya?

That's because it's the name of real person, a Facebook employee from San Francisco who won a charity auction prize. Alas, Dave will not live long: Martin plans to kill off the dude.

Chappelle on 'Chappelle'

"Technically, I never quit," comic Dave Chappelle says of his show Chappelle's Show, which he abandoned a decade ago. "I'm seven years late for work." Chappelle tells David Letterman his income took a real blow when he left. But money ain't everything.

"Fine, I don't have $50 million, but say I have $10 million," he said. "The difference in lifestyle is minuscule." Chappelle said his friends are proud he maintained his integrity. "I'll go home and make my kids integrity sandwiches," he said.

All hail Miranda
