The lovely couple's liaison was revealed this summer by the Washington Post. And this week, Alex has been waving what appears to be an engagement ring(!!!) on her show like it was a victory towel. La Salle University on Sunday will present an honorary degree to alumnus Matthew Quick, author of The Silver Linings Playbook. Quick's sixth novel, Love May Fail, has just been optioned for the big screen.
