Rush Limbaugh could return to WPHT

HE'S BAAAAACK.

Well, technically Rush Limbaugh hasn't left the airwaves yet, still appearing on IQ 106.9. But with that station switching formats to be closer to God, Limbaugh is free to go back to 1210 WPHT, the station that housed him for a decade.

So when I started hearing rumblings that Rush would return to WPHT on Oct. 28, I asked Marc Rayfield, WPHT senior vice president and market manager, what was up.

"I cannot confirm nor deny the rumor that Rush will be rejoining WPHT in late October. Currently, he is under contract by another company," Rayfield wrote in an email. "However, if and or when he becomes available, I think it's fair to say that we have interest. What team wouldn't want Cliff Lee in their starting rotation?"

Sounds like WPHT is interested to me.

A follow-up email asking about other possible changes - like the return of Sean Hannity - was not answered.

The Jay-Z-curated Made in America Festival hits the small screen tomorrow on Showtime at 9 p.m. The Ron Howard-directed doc features performances by Hova himself, Pearl Jam, Janelle Monae (who plays the Electric Factory on Sunday), Skrillex and more.

Pitman, N.J.'s own Madeline Brewer, who played cornrowed Tricia on "Orange is the New Black," just landed a role on the second season of Netflix's horror show "Hemlock Grove."

According to Deadline, Brewer will, "recur as a graphic novelist entering the town." From the mind of Eli Roth, "Hemlock Grove" centers on a rural Pennsylvania town with deep, dark secrets.

Brewer brought great pathos to a drug-addicted homeless thief in her first onscreen role, "Orange."

"I never saw [Tricia] in a bad light; I never saw her as a hardened criminal," Brewer told me when we chatted in August. "She was just a person who made some bad decisions. That's true for a lot of people, and a lot of people behind bars. That doesn't alter who they are as a person. They just screwed up somewhere along the way, and they're paying for it."

* Blair Sandlain and Kijafa Vick (that would be Michael Vick's missus), the ladies behind accessory spot PNK Elephant (504 South St.), will host Girls Hustle Harder on Oct. 17. Local businessman Don Sandusky, hailing from Landenberg, Chester County, will be on ABC's "Shark Tank" tomorrow night pitching Hamboards, a family business of skateboards that ride like surfboards. Sandusky's cousins, a family of seven surfers, created Hamboards so they would have something to do when the surf was flat. Sandusky, though, is the business brains, and not the surfer type. "I play ice hockey," he told me. "But we have the same funny personality and charisma."

Sandusky will hold a viewing party at Mike and Nick's Italian Sports Bar (300 Lantana Dr., Hockessin, Del.) The episode airs on ABC at 9 p.m.

* Looks like Richard Gere and Dakota Fanning are ready to start shooting. The stars of the soon-to-be-Philly-shot movie "Franny" were spotted dining at Stephen Starr's Dandelion on Tuesday.

"Machete Kills" stars Danny Trejo and Alexa Vega, along with director Robert Rodriguez, were in town promoting their new action flick that hits theaters tomorrow. Trejo and Vega stopped by the Flyers game Tuesday night to give tickets away to lucky fans.
