West Conshohocken firm pays $25.5M for CHOP medical offices in U. City

An affiliate of West Conshohocken-based Miller Asset Management has acquired an 87,900-square-foot medical office building in University City from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for $25.5 million.

MREF II 3550 Market LP closed on its purchase of the 3550 Market St. office building from CHOP on Sept. 13, according to records filed with the city.

CHOP and its physicians intend to remain in the building as tenants, hospital spokeswoman Emily Ditomo said Tuesday.

Miller affiliates also own the office building at 401 Market St. in Old City and the Sheridan Building at 125 S. Ninth St., according to the company's website.
