Need something to do down the Shore? Don't worry, we've got you covered.

LBIF Member/Student/Faculty Exhibition

Summertime, full-time, and sometime artists contribute to this popular, juried, end-of-season show at the 70-year-old Long Beach Island Foundation for the Arts & Sciences. Opening night — on Saturday — is a little like First Friday, with a barbecue, and a tan.

Friday-Sept. 2 (opening Saturday, 7-9 p.m.), 120 Long Beach Blvd., Loveladies, free, 609-494-1241, lbifoundation.org

“Jaws” on the Beach

Like "Rocky" on the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, Steven Spielberg's Amity Island shark horror doesn't get a better screening venue than the Cove, Brigantine's drive-in beach. Watching from boats and inner tubes also permitted.

Friday, 7:30 p.m. (movie at 8 p.m.), Southend Cove Beach, Ocean Drive West, Brigantine, free (registration required; donations requested) 609-800-2821, brigantinechamber.com

Harlem Globetrotters

Last chance to catch the 'trotters down da Shore, as they once again face the dogged Washington Generals with humor, illegal yet impressive moves, and more humor. (There's still space left in the two-hour, player-led skills clinic, Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m., for ages 6-12, $39 & $49.)

Friday-Saturday 7 p.m. Wildwood Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, $22-$80, 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com

Village Field Day

Cold Spring Village, greater Cape May's reenactor-filled, 19th-century rural historical site, shows off its antique charms, such as sack races, rolling hoops, and — who knew? — bocce, in two days of young America outdoor fun, which always includes an onsite nature trail and brewery.

Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 720 Route 9, Cold Spring, $14 adults, $12 ages 3-12, 609-898-2300, hcsv.org

Blake Shelton

Country megastar, The Voice coach, and last year's "Sexiest Man Alive," according to People, sets out to prove he's more than just Gwen Stefani's arm candy, with a concert that had better live up to its ticket price.

Saturday 8 p.m., Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, 1000 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, $200-$400, 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com

The Beach Boys

Mike Love et al. pull off a double doubleheader, four concerts in two weeknights. Expect the crew to revisit the hits: "California Dreamin'," "Surfin' Safari," "Good Vibrations," and, if the crowd knows what's good for it, a track or two from Pet Sounds.

Monday & Tuesday, 6 & 8:30 p.m., Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk (at Moorlyn Terrace), Ocean City, $75, 800-653-8000, ticketmaster.com

Taffy Sculpting

O.C.'s notorious Wacky Wednesdays are winding down, but not before this Shriver's-sponsored saltwater candy contest pits Peewee against Pop-Pop in an all-ages battle to determine who can best transform the stickiest of sugary treats into sculpture, or something recognizable as … something.

Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk (at Moorlyn Terrace), Ocean City, free, 609-399-6111, oceancityvacation.com

Atlantic City Air Show

A.C.'s loudest, neck-craning-est day of the year is a flight fanatic's must-do. The Golden Knights and Thunderbirds bookend in-air, whiz-by demos by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Lee Leet Tucano, Coast Guard's MH-65, the 6ABC chopper, and Geico Skytypers, to name a few.

Wednesday 11:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m., Atlantic City Boardwalk, free ("Flight Line Club" viewing package, $55), 609-345-4524, airshow.acchamber.com
