The Rock: 'I would love to wrestle another match'

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson spoke to Michelle Beadle of ESPN SportsNation Tuesday during a promotional tour for his new movie Hercules.

During the interview, Beadle asked The Rock about his chances of returning to the WWE for a match. Gauging from The Rock's answer, we haven't seen the last of the most electrifying man in sports-entertainment in the ring.

"I would love to wrestle another match again," he said.

He went on to talk about his injury during his last match against John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in 2013, and how that put the kibosh on his plans to begin a long feud with Brock Lesnar that would culminate at WrestleMania 30 this year.

The Rock is seemingly all healed up and has had discussions with WWE CEO Vince McMahon about a possible return.

"I've been talking to Vince [McMahon] about the idea," he said. "It's one of those things where you just got to figure out what opponent would make sense, what opponent would actually have the marquee matchup value of either John Cena or Brock Lesnar."

"I'm not quite too sure when, but I would love to go back," he added.
