Man found slain in West Philly

Police were investigating the homicide of an unidentified man whose body was found late Tuesday afternoon in West Philadelphia, police said.

Just after 5:20 p.m., police responded to the 3600 block of Edgely Avenue and found the body of a man in his 20s unresponsive on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the Medical Examiner’s Office declared his death a homicide.

No further details were immediately available.
