5 wounded in North Philly shooting

Five people were wounded — one critically — in a shooting Friday evening in North Philadelphia, police said.

The victims, described as in their late teens to early 20s, were shot around 5 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Crosskey Street.

Four of the victims were reported in stable condition at Temple University Hospital. The critically wounded victim also was at Temple.

Police said at least two juveniles opened fire on a group of people who were not armed. The shooters remained at large Friday night.
