Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Thursday, April 16:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs' bats fell silent Thursday night in Buffalo, N.Y. as they fell, 5-1, to the Bisons.

Lehigh Valley was only able to muster five hits in their losing effort.

Third baseman Maikel Franco went 2-for-4 with a double. Center fielder Jordan Danks drove in the IronPigs only run.

Severino Gonzalez was roughed up in his start, giving up five earned runs on 10 hits in five innings of work. Gonzalez was saddled with his first loss of the season.

Phillippe Aumont pitched two innings in relief for the IronPigs. He struck out three and gave up two hits.

IronPigs' left-hander Adam Morgan (0-0, 4.50 ERA) is scheduled to start Friday's 6:05 p.m. game against the Bisons at Coca- Cola Field in Buffalo.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

The Fightin Phils were off on Thursday. Reading is back in action Friday when they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels at FirstEnergy Park in Allentown.

Aaron Nola (0-1, 7.71 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Fightin Phils.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

The Threshers were able to get past the Jupiter Hammerheads, 3-2, in 11 innings at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

Domonic Brown went 1-for-3 with an RBI and two strikeouts in his final rehab start with Clearwater. Brown is scheduled to join the LeHigh Valley IronPigs on Friday.

Brandon Leibrandt struck out six batters in six innings of work for Clearwater, allowing two earned runs on five hits.

Mark Leiter pitched four innings in relief, striking out four batters, allowing just one hit and picking up his first win of the season.

Designated hitter Harold Riggins knocked in two runs for the Threshers, going 1-for-3.

Right-hander Miguel Nunez (0-0, 8.01 ERA) is scheduled to start Friday for Clearwater as they start their series with the Lakeland Flying Tigers at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

The BlueClaws dropped their first road game of the year in Hagerstown, Md. against the Suns 7-3.

The BlueClaws took a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning, but the Suns were able to overcome the early deficient.

Josh Taylor went five innings in his start for Lakewood, giving up two earned runs on six hits and striking out one batter.

Right-hander Jason Zgardowski took the loss for the BlueClaws, surrendering four runs on three hits in two innings of relief.

Left fielder Herlis Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and third baseman Derek Campbell drove in the other two BlueClaw runs.

Lakewood continues their series with the Suns in Hagerstown at Municipal Stadium on Friday at 6:05 p.m.

Right-hander Tyler Viza (1-0, 4.50 ERA) is scheduled to start for the BlueClaws.
