Presidential candidates host PA events

U.S. Sen. John McCain is campaigning this morning in the Republican stronghold of Delaware County. McCain, the GOP nominee, will hold a 9:45 a.m. town hall meeting at the Springfield Country Club at 400 W. Sproul Road in Springfield Township. Following the meeting, McCain is scheduled to address news organizations at 11 a.m. in the country club's ballroom. Sen. Hillary Clinton begins a busy set of weekend appearances at a gas station today in Pittsburgh to draw attention to the impact of high gas prices on the U.S. economy. At 6 p.m. today, Clinton leads a rally at Pittsburgh's Soldiers and Sailors Hall at 4141 5th Avenue. She will be joined by two "special guests." Doors open at 3:45 for the public.

On Saturday, Clinton is scheduled to march in the Iron City's St. Patrick's Day parade before traveling to Scranton to attend another Irish-themed celebration. For more information, go to www.HillaryClinton.com or call 215-625-0329.

Clinton and Obama yesterday agreed to participate in a nationally televised debate on April 16th at the National Constitution Center.
