'Apparently Kid' seriously wants to sell you pet food now

The rise of Pottstown's Noah Ritter, aka the 'Apparently Kid,' continued yesterday with his appearance on Ellen after giving an adorable off-the-cuff interview at the Wayne County Fair last month.

The rise of Pottstown's Noah Ritter, aka the 'Apparently Kid,' continued yesterday with his appearance on Ellen after giving an adorable interview at the Wayne County Fair last month. But now young Noah has cashed in. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the newest spokesperson for Seacaucus, New Jersey based pet food brand, Freshpet.

Marketing to health-conscious pet owners, Freshpet nabbed Ritter for the above commercial and more or less just let him roll. And, with Noah being Noah, there are again several things to take away from his stream-of-thought-style presentation:

  1. Barney and Ed were once best dog friends, but one of them didn't like any of the pet food he got because it made his "farts stink all day and night."

  2. Touching your toes is difficult.

  3. He likes cats—no, wait—dogs better because they like to lick your face.

  4. Keep your dog's food in the fridge so it will be "as fresh as a turkey on Thanksgiving."

  5. His favorite dinosaur is not a bird, because birds exist already.

Not bad for a first commercial—but, then, the kid is a natural. Check out the behind the scenes footage below:
