What to see and do at the Suburban Home & Garden Show

It’s about that time when people start itching for spring. While it feels like an eternity away given the current extreme conditions, this weekend’s Suburban Home and Garden Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (100 Station Ave., Oaks) will offer an indoor oasis of spring gardening goodness to help inspire you for when temperatures are steadily in the double digits again.

It's about that time when people start itching for spring. While it feels like an eternity away given the current extreme conditions, this weekend's Suburban Home and Garden Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (100 Station Ave., Oaks) will offer an indoor oasis of spring gardening goodness to help inspire you for when temperatures are steadily in the double digits again.

Featured exhibits include a selection of gardens constructed by regional landscapers, model homes, a kid zone (complete with swing sets, naturally), a Frisbee dog show, Dutch Country Corner for baked bites, deli items, pretzels, popcorn, jams, pickles and more and a chocolate, flowers and wine sample area.

No matter if you're looking to make home renovations or are looking to make updates indoors, various awning manufacturers, remodelers, home builders, closet and shelving companies, furniture businesses and interior designers will have booths at the show. That's just the beginning of the wide range of exhibitors on hand all weekend; check out the full list.

Show hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22.
