Following New York City's jam-packed Fashion Week, we here in Philadelphia are spotlighting our own style community through a week of runway shows, pop-up shops and cocktail parties via the Philadelphia Collection, running Wednesday, Sept. 17 through Wednesday, Sept. 24. Now in its fifth year, the event celebrates the city's "collection" of retailers, boutiques, designers and fashion students.

With over 45 events happening throughout the seven-day soiree, here's where you'll find us channeling our best Anna Wintour.

Phashion Phest would be a good start. Helping to kick off the week on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m., the evening features a fashion show, student designer showcase, and a cocktail reception at the Shops at Liberty Place (1625 Chestnut St).

The folks at Calypso St. Barth (1618 Walnut St.) understand that a little bit of bubbly can help make the shopping experience all the more enjoyable. Stop by from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 for champagne, light bites and personal style tips.

In today's technologically based world, gadgets have become fashion staples as well (hello, Apple Watch). A panel discussion on Thursday, Sept. 18 brings style-minded folks like Dom Streater, fashion and textile designer; Jason Browne, founder of SPOR; and Christine Zapata of NextFab to talk about tech styles from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at NextFab (2025 Washington Ave.).

For a sweet presentation, get to the Joan Shepp Boutique (1811 Chestnut St.) at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 as they unveil an exclusive Moschino capsule collection, only available in select boutiques.

Recover from a wild night at brunch at NinoBRAND (888 S. 20th St.) when the boutique welcomes SCJRealFood from noon to 3 p.m. Get your photo snapped and munch on the organic fare on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Take notes: This is what you'll be wearing this winter. Eleven national and international designers' Fall/Winter 2014 collections hit the runway at Crane Arts (1400 N. American St.) as a part of Philly Fashion Week on Saturday, Sept. 20. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m.

Local, vintage and handmade wares get the A-list treatment at Tattooed Mom (530 South St.) on Sunday, Sept. 21. Come for art, cocktails and a trunk show from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Why outsource your wardrobe when you can get it all in Philly? More locally made goods are up for purchase on Monday, Sept. 22 at Urban Princess Boutique (620 S. 4th St.). For four hours starting at 3 p.m., stock up on your soon-to-be fall favorites.

The Philadelphia Fashion Incubator designers will be at the Market and Shops at the Comcast Center (1701 JFK Blvd.) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during an all-day sale and pop-up shop event on Tuesday, Sept. 23. Meet the local designers, who've been working to create fashions through the year-long program … and, of course, spend some green.

Grab your compass and fashion map on Tuesday, Sept. 23 for an excursion around Rittenhouse Row. Various boutiques and shops — like South Moon Under, Calypso St. Barth, Boyds, Duke & Winston, Toppers Spa — and bars and restaurants — including Ladder 15, Ocean Prime, Rouge — will hold in-store events and cocktail competitions from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pick up your arm bands and maps at AKA Rittenhouse (135 S. 18th St.) between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
