#PhillyFive Things to Do: May 26, 2015

Back to the grind today.

Back to the grind today.

For a stretch: Get your shortened workweek started with a free yoga class on Race Street Pier (Race St. and Columbus Blvd.) starting at 7 a.m. Another class is held at 6 p.m.

For primping: Beauty experts will be dolling up the masses at the Market and Shops at Comcast Center (1701 John F. Kennedy Blvd.) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Whether you need eyebrow threading by anjuthreads, chair massages from Eviama Life Spa or make up demos from Make Me Up Pretty, there's something for all beauty fanatics.

For a night on the town: 20 local jazz musicians are set to make you sway at the Prime Rib's (1701 Locust St.) Jazz It Up Philly. The ritzy evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., includes a red carpet photo op, cocktail hour and three-course dinner.

For fame and rock and roll: The story of a radio DJ in the 1950s and a club singer ready for stardom, "Memphis" is based on actual events that occurred in the Tennessee city. Tonight's show at the Walnut Street Theatre (825 Walnut St.) begins at 8 p.m.

For jams: Starting at 11 p.m., DJs Dentana and Achievement put their spin on a late-night dance party with darker electronic dance music at Kung Fu Necktie (1248 N. Front St.).
