#PhillyFive Things to Do: May 15, 2015

You deserve a break. Here’s five.

You deserve a break. Here's five.

For a bargain: In honor of National Ride Your Bike to Work Day, Philly's new bike share system, Indego, is offering $1 "walk up trips" for the first 30 minutes of rides purchased with a credit card today (read: not with your Indego key). Pick up a bike from any one of the 70 bike stations and get riding!

For a chill evening: Bring your dinner to Cedar Park (49th St. and Baltimore Ave.) for a two-hour picnic, starting at 6 p.m. If you're not the pack-and-go type, Dock Street, The Gold Standard, Hibiscus, Little Baby's, Mariposa, Penn Pizza and Taco Angeleno are offering picnic deals.

For an opening: The Barnes Foundation's (2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway) latest exhibit, "The Order of Things" opens with a 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. party featuring the three large-scale installations and an improvised performance from King Britt, Anthony Tidd, Chuck Treece and Damon Bennett.

For dance music: EDM, body painting, live art. It's a complete sonic and visual experience at District N9NE (460 N. 9th St.) for Hyperglow, featuring trap music performer Brillz. Doors open at 8 p.m.

For a sideshow: Tricks, stunts and talents of a freaky variety are put on display for Carnivolution, a circus sideshow, playing at 9 p.m. at The Collective Philadelphia (3245 Amber St.).
