With promising weather during the next two weeks in November, discover sights unseen through these upcoming walking and biking tours.

If your only reason to visit North Philadelphia is Temple University, think again. On Saturday, Nov. 7 North Central Philly Lost & Found will take guests on a tour featuring Victorian Gothic architecture while learning about the social history of the neighborhood during the 1960-70s. The tour begins at Broad and Master Streets and is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On Friday, Oct. 31, the Manayunk Bridge opened exclusively for bikes and pedestrians, and should be on your things-to-see list. Led by Brad Maule on Saturday, Nov. 7, Mostly Manayunk is a part of Bikesploration hosted by Hidden City and Spoke Magazine. This trip will not only take you on the new attraction but also give you an inside look at remnants of the old river town at Flat Rock Dam, a visit to Laurel Hill Cemetery, and more. This adventure will meet at 4900 Ridge Ave. and starts at 11 a.m.

Graze around Pennsylvania's largest burial grounds during Death & Life at Mt. Moriah Cemetery on Sunday, Nov. 8. This historic graveyard tour will explain the significance of cemeteries during the Victorian period and why they were used as a place to relax. Wear good outdoor shoes to this one, it may get a little messy. Things get start at the main gate (62nd and Kingsessing Sts.) at 11 a.m.

Learn about noise tuned throughout the 18th and 19th century on Saturday, Nov. 14 during Lost Sites & Sounds of Early Philadelphia Music. This two-hour walking venture will feature locations that hosted the area's first opera performance, first mega-performance, and locations of resident musicians during the time period. The meet up spot for this trip is the southwest corner of 6th and Walnut Streets at 11 a.m.
