The classic French Rittenhouse Square offshoot of Bibou will open Wednesday, Nov. 20 after a short soft-opening period. It will occupy the first-floor restaurant space at the Art Alliance, 251 S. 18th St.

If you've been hitting refresh on the OpenTable site, waiting for reservations at Le Chéri, be advised that the books are now open.

Pierre and Charlotte Calmels have no menu to show you yet, though they insist that prices will be lower than those at Bibou in South Philadelphia.

Le Cheri will be open Wednesday to Sunday for dinner only at the beginning.

Here is the menu.

It also will be BYOB until the liquor license arrives. Expect a list of French and Swiss wines.
