An ODD way to train after Broad Street

It's been three days since you crossed the finish line of Philadelphia's premiere racing event and you're probably starting to feel the Broad Street blues right about now. But don't fret. We've got a rather "odd" way for you to keep your training going.

The 6th annual ODDyssey half-marathon will take place in a little over five weeks.  Just think about it — if you ran 10 miles on Sunday, you can definitely train to run 13.1 by June 14.

Luckily, the folks at ODDyssey have mapped out the perfect 5-week plan to keep your training on track.

"By adding a mile a week to your long runs, you can easily be ready in time for the ODDYssey Half Marathon and finish off your spring running season with a bang," said race director Carl Ewald.

As a special incentive to Broad Street Runners, the ODDyssey is offering a $10 registration discount if you sign up by midnight on Friday (5/8) using the promo code "BSRExpo".
