After the success of their initial installment collection last fall, Banana Republic and Mad Men decided to move ahead with a spring capsule. Its landing caused an enormous hoopla Wednesday morning (literally).

Once again, Janie Bryant, the Emmy Award-winning Costume Designer of the show, designed the line. However, this time, she sought inspiration for the new capsule from the country club scenes featured on the show.

This means dresses in graphic floral prints, cardigans, shells, capris and statement jewelry for the ladies. Gentlemen can take their pick of colored polos, argyle vests and light-weight spring-appropriate blazers. The purpose of the capsule is to take a unique adaptation on Banana's modernized, work-friendly wear with '60s style and panache.

All local Banana Republic locations (excluding the outlets) should offer the capsule. This includes Center City, both King of Prussia locations, Willow Grove and others. Prices range from $49.50 to $150 for the women's collection. Meanwhile, menswear items will range up to $355.
