Sugar House Casino gets first major building permit
Inquirer Staff Report:
The developers of the Sugar House Casino have obtained their first major construction permit to begin work at the gaming hall’s Delaware River site.
The issuance of the foundation permit came three days after the state Supreme Court appointed a special master to resolve disputes between the developer and the city over construction that have delayed work on the multi-million dollar project.
“We are very excited that we are moving forward in our development process and we look forward to working cooperatively with the city to build a dynamic project, of which we can all be proud,” said Greg Carlin, CEO of HSP Gaming LP, the developer.

Maggie O already got her job there. I hear she was named president!!! And she got her own penthouse office with a beautiful city view. She doesn't even have to walk to work since they gave her that beautiful new Mercedes. And the bonus she gets on top! She bought a big house on the beach in Stone Harbor but after her trip around Europe she probably won't like Stone Harbor. Geesh no wonder she supported SugarHouse. FishtownMom
