The FBI released these three security camera photos of the suspect in yesterday's robbery of a Citizen's Bank branch at 20th and Market streets.
Inquirer staff writer Zoe Tillman reports:
The FBI has identified the man wanted in yesterday’s Center City bank robbery as Jerry Lee Stanton, 59, of West Philadelphia. He was arrested by FBI agents today at around 10:30 a.m. on the 5000 block of Walnut Street.
FBI agent Vicki Humphreys, a spokeswoman for the agency, said Stanton will be charged locally.
The robber was caught on camera yesterday demanding an undisclosed amount of money from a teller at the Citizens Bank branch at 20th and Market Streets. He was last seen fleeing on foot westbound on Market Street.

captured after a very, very, low speed chase.
Would have gotten away too, if it weren't for his battery running out of juice.
"Ederly". My G-d the suspect is only 59.
that has to be a typo, there's no way that man is 59. they must have meant 69 or 79. either that, or this guy had one tough paper route.

Well he must have needed the money, who want's to go to prison at his age???
Ha, ha, "elderly". Looks like he lived a hard life. Now he is on easy street since he will get free room, board and medical, in prison.
just goes to show no matter who bad things are you can always make them worse.....
Give him the chair! A nice, comfy chair. Preferably one with slipcovers.

Must have lost his retirement money, now he'll get 3 hots and a cot compliments of taxpayers.
