HubBub Coffee bringing back original coffee truck this summer

HubBub Coffee will soon take their brew to the streets once again with the return of the original coffee truck that started it all — plus some cold brew trikes, to boot.

HubBub Coffee will soon take their brew to the streets once again with the return of the original coffee truck that started it all — plus some cold brew trikes, to boot.

HubBub, which launched in 2009, started out as Philadelphia's very first coffee-centric food truck before moving on to its current three physical locations. This summer will serve as the coffee truck's first time back out on the streets since HubBub began focusing on brick-and-mortar locations.

In addition, HubBub will again break out out their custom, bright red cold brew trikes — which debuted last year and feature a cold box stuffed with kegs of cold brew coffee — as well as their full-service portable coffee bar.

It all begins Saturday, May 14 with HubBub's appearance at Paine's Park for the the Love on the Streets Skateboarding Fest. From there, the schedule — via a release — is as follows:

  1. Saturday, 6/6 at the Philadelphia Cycling Classic on Lemon Hill (Fairmount Park)

  2. Sunday 6/12, 7/10, 8/14, 9/11, 10/9 for Sunday Brunches at Taco Angeleno (5013 Baltimore Avenue)

  3. Friday 8/5 through Sunday 8/7 at This is Hardcore Fest at the Electric Factory (421 North 7th Street)

  4. Saturday, 9/17 at the Dogfish Head Analog-A-Go-Go (Bellevue State Park, 800 Carr Road, Wilmington, DE) from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Additionally, HubBub will be on hand several Sundays throughout the summer at Smith Memorial Playground, though no specific dates have yet been announced. For updates, follow HubBub on social media.

The coffee truck, trikes, and bar will also be available for private events, which you can find out more about here.
