Drew Crockett, 30-year-old owner of HubBub Coffee, just signed a lease for his second cafe.

He'll take on University City - where his truck is set up - with a new spot at 3736 Spruce St., previously Gia Pronto.

Crockett, a University of Pennsylvania grad, debuted the HubBub Coffee truck at 38th & Spruce Streets in fall 2009 and opened his first brick-and-mortar HubBub Coffee cafe at 1717 Arch St. in January 2013.

The café at 3736 Spruce is targeted for a fall opening.

The HubBub Coffee truck is still in operation. It's now at the Navy Yard on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 2:30pm.
