Police ID man killed on Kingsessing porch

The man who died after being shot on the steps of a home in Kingsessing has been identified.

Officers from the 12th District discovered Brandon Ivory Agnew, 32, lying near the front door of that home, on Hadfield Street near 57th, last night about 10:22 p.m., according to police spokeswoman Officer Tanya Little.

Agnew, who lived nearby on Whitby Avenue near 56th Street, had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene shorty after police arrived.

There is no information available on a motive or suspects. Detectives from the Homicide Unit are investigating the slaying.
