Arrest made in parking spot shooting

Raymond Howard, 44, was arrested Tuesday night in connection with a shooting over a parking spot on Hurley Street on Monday, police said.

He's charged with attempted murder, firearms violations, assault and reckless endangerment, according to court documents. Howard has a lengthy criminal history, which spans two decades.

On May 23, Howard was charged with assault, theft by deception and receiving stolen property and was put on probation for a year, according to court documents.

Two people were shot and wounded, one critically, late Monday in the city's Feltonville section in what police believe was a feud over a parking space.
