‘DWTS’: Calling Dr. Travolta

Kirstie Alley gets a house call from her favorite ‘dance doctor’, John Travolta

Kirstie Alley must have been sick with worry, after fumbling on the dance floor in two successive weeks on Dancing With the Stars.

So she called partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy over to her house as they practiced for this week's foxtrot.

There Kirstie informed Maks that she had called a "dance doctor." In breezed John Travolta who watched the couple closely and gave some astute advice. (see video from E! News below).

Dr. Travolta, known for his on-screen moves in films like Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction, quickly diagnosed the problem: the couple lack romantic tension.

Then, after promising, "I'll send you the bill", he departed with a quick, "ciao".

The medical visit seems to have helped last night as the couple danced to "American Woman", a 1970 rocker recorded by the Canadian group, The Guess Who.

Chmerkovskiy brought enough sexy for the two of them, prowling the floor in tight leather pants and no shirt.

The judges were split, with Len Goodman especially unimpressed. But Carrie Ann Inaba called Kirstie's routine "bold, ambitious, borderline crazy." It was good enough for 23 points which placed Alley ahead of Ralph Macchio, Kendra Wilkinson and Petra Nemcova on last night's leader board.

What did you think of last night's performances? Does Kirstie stand a chance of winning this thing?
