Tugboats took the most decorated ship in U.S. Navy history down the Delaware River to the Paulsboro Marine Terminal, where it will remain for about a week as it's prepared for dry docking. After that it will head across the river to the Philadelphia Navy Yard, where it will undergo routine maintenance, repairs, and repainting for the first time in 32 years. Guided dry dock tours of the battleship will take place during Saturdays and Sundays beginning April 6 and 7 while the ship is at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Tickets must be purchased in advance online and are priced starting at a $225 donation per person.
