The Wings (4-5) fell, 16-13, to the Toronto Rock (8-3) on Saturday night in a National Lacrosse League game at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Rock scored the first five goals before Alex Turner put the Wings on the board at the 10-minute mark of the first quarter. The Wings pulled to within 6-3 by the end of the quarter.

They cut the Rock's lead to 6-4 with a diving goal by Brendan Mundorf, which was upheld after a video review.

Toronto rebuilt its lead in the second half, however, and the Wings were unable to get closer than a three-goal deficit.

Mundorf and Athan Iannucci each had four goals and five assists for the Wings. Goalie Brandon Miller, who will represent the team with Max Seibald in the NLL All-Star Game on Sunday, kept the Wings in the game by allowing just six second-half goals.

The Wings will host the Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday.
