The top-seeded Soul are only two games away from repeating as Arena Football League champions.

The Soul take on the Baltimore Brigade at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday at 4 p.m. If they win, they'll host ArenaBowl XXX on  Aug. 26, going against the winner of Monday's Cleveland at Tampa Bay game.

The Soul is 13-1 this season with their only blemish coming against the Brigade in a 49-42 road loss on July 8 that snapped a 10-game winning streak. The Soul routed Baltimore, 70-21, at home on July 29 and is 3-1 against the Brigade this season.

Soul starting quarterback, Dan Raudabaugh has completed 243-of-365 passes, throwing for 3,175 yards in 14 games this season. He leads the AFL with 82 passing touchdowns, and has thrown only 10 interceptions this year. The 30-year old Raudabaugh has a go-to target in 6-foot-2 receiver Darius Reynolds, who has collected a team-high 1,272 yards and 35 touchdowns in his second year with the Soul.

Defensively, the Soul will be led by defensive back James Romain, who has a team-leading 78 tackles and  23 pass breakups, in addition to five interceptions. While the Brigade will be without starting quarterback Shane Carden (concussion), they boast 5-foot-11 wide receiver Reggie Gray, who has a team-high 69 receptions, 670 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. Baltimore (4-10),  the fourth seed in the five-team league, has lost four straight games since its upset over the Soul.

A year ago, the Soul cruised through the playoffs in what was then an eight-team league, and won ArenaBowl XXIX, 56-42, over the Arizona Rattlers. It was the Soul's first championship since 2008.
