Soul makes final cuts, reveals regular-season roster
The Philadelphia Soul announced its final 24-man roster Saturday, as it gears up for the season opener March 15 against the Arizona Rattlers.
"We had an outstanding and competitive training camp," Soul head coach Clint Dolezel said. "We are pleased with the team we have put together. The first cuts were very difficult, but we feel that we have put together a roster that can make a championship run in 2014."

The Soul was able to get Martinez on the active roster by activating him from the Refused to Report list. The team also placed former All-Arena defensive back Kent Richardson on the Refused to Report list.
Two notable defensive players were left off the active roster due to injuries. All-Arena defensive lineman Bryan Robinson was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list while linebacker Calvin Fance was put on injured reserve.
