Soul sign replacement kicker Tommy Frevert

The Soul signed kicker Tommy Frevert to replace the injured Carlos Martinez.

Frevert played for the Kansas City Renegades in the CPIFL in 2013. He made 31-of-35 PATs and 5-of-16 field goals during that season.

"Frevert came to an open tryout last year and we really liked what we saw," said Soul head coach Clint Dolezel. "He has a really strong leg and we are excited to see how well he will do for us."

The Soul travel to Spokane, Wash. to face the Shock on Saturday, April 4. The game will begin at 10 p.m.
