About the Soul: The have lost two of the last three and lead Cleveland by only a half-game in the East Division. . . . Wide receiver Donovan Morgan returns to the lineup after missing seven weeks with a broken wrist. He expects to play the entire game.

About the Gladiators: They have won three in a row and are led by John Dutton at quarterback. He had a season-high nine touchdown passes in Cleveland's win over the Soul on April 1. . . . Dominic Goodman, who had five touchdown catches in the first meeting, leads the AFL with 98 receptions. . . . Cleveland leads the AFL in scoring defense with an average of 46 points per game.

Poll position: The Soul slipped two spots to fourth in the weekly coaches poll. Cleveland is seventh. Arizona, San Jose, and San Antonio are the top three.
