Cristiano Ronaldo leads Portugal World Cup squad

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the biggest of the many big names on Portugal's World Cup squad.

Ronaldo is joined by Real Madrid teammates Pepe and Fábio Coentrão, Lazio's Helder Postiga and Manchester United's Nani on coach Paulo Bento's preliminary 30-man roster.

Portugal will be the second group stage opponent for the United States. The teams will meet on June 22 in Manaus, a city at the heart of the Amazon rainforest.

Before heading to Brazil, Portugal will paly two high-profile warmup games in the United States: against Mexico in Foxborough, Mass., on June 6 and against Ireland in East Rutherford, N.J., on June 10.
