The Union will host Swansea City A.F.C. of the English Premier League in an international friendly at 7 p.m. July 15 at Talen Energy Stadium.

The Union have regularly played friendlies against EPL teams. They hosted Crystal Palace, playing to a 0-0 draw, on July 13 last year.

July 15 falls between two Major League Soccer road games for the Union. They will visit Sporting Kansas City on July 6 and won't resume MLS play until July 19 at Montreal.

The Union said the friendly counts as the bonus game for all season- ticket holders.

Ayuk to Sweden

In a transaction, the Union loaned midfielder Eric Ayuk to Jönköpings Södra IF in Sweden's top division for the remainder of the season.

After playing in 28 games, with 14 starts, in 2015, the 20-year-old Ayuk appeared in just one MLS game for the Union last season. He spent most of last season with the Bethlehem Steel and has not played for the Union this season.

Homestand to begin

The Union (0-2-2) will host the Portland Timbers (3-1-1) Saturday in the first of three consecutive home games.

The Union's match at the Chicago Fire on Oct. 15 has been moved to 5 p.m. after being scheduled for 3. As a result, the game will be telecast on the Comcast Network instead of 6ABC.
