The Union will open their sixth Major League Soccer season, Saturday March 7 with a 4 p.m. game against the Colorado Rapids at PPL Park.

On Friday, MLS released just the league's home openers. The Union's first road game is March 14 at Real Salt Lake.

The Union are 1-3-1 in opening games after last year's 1-1 draw at Portland on March 8. The following week the Union won their home opener, 1-0 over New England and are 3-2 all-time in openers at PPL Park.

The Union are coming off a 10-12-12 season for 42 points, seven out of the fifth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

This season's training camp opens Jan. 23 at YSC Sports in Wayne and moves to the Union's new location Feb. 2 in Clearwater, across from the Phillies complex.

The Union will spend most of the month of February in Florida, returning home on the 28th.

MLS' season opens March 6 when the Chicago Fire visit the defending champion Los Angeles Galaxy.
