Former Union keeper Chris Seitz is the backup in Dallas.

Dallas is without 2010 MLS MVP David Ferreira, who is sidelined with a broken ankle. Even though he has only played six games, Ferreira is the leading scorer (3 goals, 1 assist), followed by midfielder Brek Shea (2 goals, 1 assist). Shea recently signed a contract extension through 2015.

Goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon, who suffered a groin strain in the game, is listed as probable by the team. Mondragon has a 0.50 goals-against average. The Union have yet to score more than one goal in any game. The defense, led by Mondragon and central defender Carlos Valdes, has allowed just four goals.
