Sixers to hold open practice at Palestra Oct. 1

The "Blue x White scrimmage' will be from 1-3:30 p.m.

The 76ers will hold their annual "Blue x White scrimmage" at the Palestra on Oct. 1 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tickets to the open practice will be given out beginning on Tuesday via the Sixers' social media platforms. Fans looking to get early access to tickets can sign up for Club 76, the team's official membership and season ticket waiting list.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding a Sixers squad that posted a 28-52 record last season. This season's squad will boast the last two first overall picks in Markelle Fultz (June) and Ben Simmons (2016) in addition to standout center Joel Embiid. The squad will also showcase free agents additions in J.J. Redick and Amir Johnson.
