Sixers' Josh Harris makes Forbes' richest U.S. team owners list

Harris, who is worth $2.5 billion, is tied for 28th. No other Philly owner made the list.

FORBES PUBLISHED its "America's Richest Sports Team Owners 2015" list yesterday.

And, Sixers owner Josh Harris is the only Philadelphia team owner on it.

Harris, who also owns the New Jersey Devils, made his money in semiconductors. He is tied for 28th with Arthur Blank, with $2.5 billion in personal wealth. Blank, of Home Depot fame, owns the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta United FC soccer team, which will debut in the MLS in 2017.

Former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, who owns the Los Angeles Clippers, tops the list, with $21.6 billion. Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft who owns the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers, is at No. 2, with $17.8 billion.

Jerry Jones, who owns the Dallas Cowboys is listed at No. 12, with $5 billion, while Redskins owner Dan Snyder is 36th, with $2.1 billion.

Brady backs off Trump

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who recently said having Donald Trump as president "would be great" made it clear that he is not endorsing the New York billionaire.

Brady told WEEI radio in Boston that his vote " is going to be my own personal choice based on how I feel."

"I don't even know what the issues are," Brady said. "I haven't paid attention to politics in a long time."

Far from being deflated (pun intended) Trump still has quite a few athletic types stumping for him.

Former Eagles Herschel Walker and Terrell Owens (both "Celebrity Apprentice" alums) are on the Trump train, as is former NBA star Dennis Rodman.

Trump has also thanked, via Twitter, Mike Ditka and Bobby Knight for their support.

In the spirit of equal time, Hillary Clinton supporters include Magic Johnson, Billie Jean King and Michelle Kwan.
