Sixers hope to untrack Evan Turner

Not only are the 76ers trying to get some wins, they hope to get one of their key players back on track.

Evan Turner, the team's third-leading scorer at 13.3 points per game, has scored a total of 39 points over the last five games. His low point was a two-point effort against Portland on March 18.

"He's struggling right now," coach Doug Collins said after Turner scored six points in Monday night's 107-91 setback at Utah. "So hopefully we can get him these last 12 games playing that ball that he was playing before."

This week's games against Milwaukee on Wednesday, at Cleveland on Friday and against Charlotte on Saturday could be a good start.

The Sixers (27-43) are coming off a disappointing four-game road trip against the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver, Sacramento and Utah. Their lone victory was Sunday's 117-103 decision over the Kings.

Turner, the second overall pick in the 2010 draft, now gets to face three teams he averaged 17.5 points against in a combined seven games this season.

The Sixers last played the Bucks (34-35) on Feb. 13. That was one of three games in which Turner scored 20 or more points since Jan. 28. He scored 20 points on 8-of-19 shooting in the 94-92 setback in Milwaukee.
