Garcia, who dates Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher and recently guest-starred on "Gossip Girl," arrived mid-game with her friend Bass. They said that fans were treating them respectfully, at least so far.

_ Comedian Chris Rock didn't really want to talk last night when we encountered him as we awaited an elevator at Citizens Bank Park. "I'm a baseball fan. I'm a Mets fan actually," he said when we asked the lifelong New Yorker if he was supporting the Yankees. He seemed to think that we were suggesting that he shouldn't be at the game, which was not the case.

Out and about

_ Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt accompanied boyfriend Jamie Kennedy to Cheech's Beef & Ale (12th & Oregon) after Sunday night's game. The Upper Darby native Kennedy and friend Rob Tedesco, of Flippin' Pizza, in Phoenixville, dropped by to visit friend Maria Landi, Cheech's cook.

* There's a gym at the Four Seasons, where the Yankees stayed during the three games here, but Alex Rodriguez worked out at the Sporting Club at the Bellevue (200 S. Broad) yesterday morning, as we had reported on Twitter (@PhillyGossip). A-Rod played a little basketball and rode a stationary bike during his workout, which he followed up with breakfast upstairs at XIX.

* Yankees outfielder Johnny

Damon and his wife, Michelle, rented a karaoke room at Yakitori Boy (211 N. 11th) after dinner at Ruth's Chris (260 S. Broad) Friday night. Michelle told the hostess that she was looking for Anthony Checetto. The VIP manager, a Phillies fan, didn't recognize her, or her husband. Checetto arranged a private room with security for the couple. No word on what Damon was crooning, but he was playfully heckled by some Phillies fans in the house.

During last year's World Series, Rays infielder Akinori

Iwamura was at the karaoke bar/restaurant a couple of times.

Phils fan injured at Pearl Jam

Holme Circle's Bill Michael had to watch games 3, 4 and 5 from his bed after he was injured by some jerk who landed on him after jumping from the 300 level at the Spectrum during Pearl Jam's Friday concert, narrowly missing NBC 10's John Clark.

Michael, who was in the 200 level, and the culprit were taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where his Chase Utley shirt had to be cut off. Michael, 34, an auditor, filed a police report, but the jumper was not arrested. Michael yesterday said that he has back and neck pain, but feels a lot better than he did over the weekend.

According to Michael, he overheard the jumper in the hospital call friends to boast about his stupid stunt. Some may remember Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder climbing the balcony at the Trocadero (1003 Arch) and jumping off in the "Alive" video.

"It's unfortunate that one person took it upon himself to ruin, for some, a great event that people had truly been looking forward to seeing," said Ike Richman, of Comcast Spectacor.

If only all games were Oct. 21

Could PR strategist Nina Zucker be the Phillies' good-luck charm? Zucker, a big fan whose birthday falls on Oct. 21, was at the winning World Series game in 1980, on her birthday, the winning Game 5 in 1993, also on her birthday, and sure enough, caught the Oct. 21 NLCS-clinching Dodgers game.
