The house Raul is tearing up

Raul Ibanez has owned the new Yankee Stadium.

Former Phillie Raul Ibanez is right back at it like he was last fall, having his way with the newest version of Yankee Stadium, this time as a Seattle Mariner.

He picked BoopStats' 50th birthday (Oct. 20, 2012) to have one of the greatest postseason late-inning appearances in baseball history with a pinch-hit homer in the ninth inning to tie an ALDS game with the Orioles and another one to win it in the 12th. He added another homer there in the ALCS against the Tigers.

Now, with three home runs in the first two games there this week, he has six home runs and 13 RBI in his last seven contests there.

In his career, he has played a little more than half a full season in the House Thet George Built and has 22 homers, 57 RBI, a .300 batting average and a .638 slugging percentage.

And he has done even better there when not wearing the Yankee pinstriples. In 11 games as a visitor, he has five homers, six doubles, 15 RBI and is hitting .372 with an .860 slugging percentage.

He gets his last shot there Thursday night, unless he gets traded or the Ms and Ys meet in the postseason.
