Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Friday, May 8:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs opened their series with the Gwinnett Braves with a 4-3 walk-off victory Friday night at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.

Phillippe Aumont pitched six scoreless innings in his second IronPigs start for the season. Aumont allowed just two hits and struck out two batters.

Colton Murray pitched the final ⅔ of an inning, he was charged with his second blown save of the season and his first win.

Third baseman Maikel Franco went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and double.

Center fielder Brian Bogusevic was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Right fielder Domonic Brown went 1-for-4. Brown is hitting .233 with Lehigh Valley.

The IronPigs continue their series with Gwinnett on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. Left-hander Adam Morgan (0-3, 3.90 ERA) is scheduled to start for Lehigh Valley.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A

The Fightin Phils fell victim to a two run walk-off home run Friday night in Erie. Reading lost 9-7 to the SeaWolves.

Starter Tom Windle was roughed up, allowing five runs on eight hits in 5 ⅓ innings of work.

Ethan Stewart took his second loss of the season, giving up a two-run home run to SeaWolves center fielder Connor Harrell in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Designated hitter Art Charles went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run.

First baseman Brock Stassi was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two walks.

Right fielder Aaron Altherr went 2-for-4 with a double, triple and RBI.

Center fielder Roman Quinn went 0-for-5 with a walk and a strikeout.

Reading continues its series with the SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park in Erie on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. Right-hander Ben Lively (2-0, 2.16 ERA) is slated to start for the Fightin Phils.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

Clearwater could not do much to get their offense going on Friday night, falling to Daytona, 2-1, in a pitchers battle. J.P. Crawford did his best to try and spark the offense. The shortstop went 2-for-3 on the day with two walks, scoring the only Threshers run of the day. Andrew Pullin and andrew Knapp also had two hits on the night.

The Threshers did manage 10 hits on the day, but would not cash in on their opportunities. They left 11 men stranded on base and were just 1-for-7 with men in scoring position.

Victor Arano did his best to keep the Threshers in the game despite the lack of run support. He took the loss despite going seven innings and scattering six hits. He did give up both runs. His ERA now stands at 5.85.

The Threshers finish their series with Daytona Saturday night. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

When Lakewood and Augusta showed up to the ballpark on Friday night, they expected to play a baseball game. Well, they pretty much played two full ones. In a marathon game that many (us) thought would never end, it didn't actually end. The game was called in the middle of the 17th inning due to fog. Seriously.

In the 16.5 innings the two teams did play, they were deadlocked at 2 since Lakewood scored a run to tie the game in the bottom of the 8th inning. They will finish the game on Saturday afternoon.

Carlos Tocci managed to get seven at bats in the unfinished game, collecting four hits. He is now batting .376 on the season. No other BlueClaw managed more than two hits. Herlis Rodriguez had a pair of hits in his seven at bats, but struck out three times.

Ranfi Casimiro got the start and gave up both runs for Lakewood. Since he excited after the sixth inning, the BlueClaws bullpen combined to throw 11 scoreless innings, giving up just five hits.
